Now in its third decade, Peekskill's inspired Arts District continues to lead the way for art lovers along the Hudson River's Creative Coast Line. Our galleries and artists are one of the City’s most enduring attractions and they run the gamut in creative works of art in all their mediums.
Every year, the Historic Artist District plays host to art connoisseurs, collectors as well as many accomplished artists via the Open Studio tours. Thousands of visitors have enjoyed open house hospitality at key gallery venues, museums, artists’ studios, shops and restaurants throughout the downtown area over the years.
Peekskill's line up of multi-faceted art galleries open their doors to not only patrons of the arts but just the casual window shopper variety as well. Our arts district congregated with the Historic District has the most impressive mix of artistic mediums available. Art lovers of every budgetary consideration will be able to visit the galleries, studios and shops and find extraordinary value in the art purchase throughout our art destination city.

On WNYC yesterday morning Peekskill Artist Alexis Cole called in to The Brian Lehrer to respond to his question Where Are the Artists Moving? The link below should take you to the audio file. It is an interesting segment and Alexis is the second caller into the program.
She did great job in promoting Peekskill as a place for artists! Thank You Alexis!
